ORIGINAL BUILDING
Strohwig Industries started in a small farmhouse outbuilding in Polk, WI by Wolfgang Strohwig & Larry Glass. A first generation immigrant from Germany, Mr. Strohwig arrived in the United States in 1961 at 17 years old to be a Tool & Die Apprentice.
In 1978, Mr. Strohwig partnered with his brother-in-law Larry Glass to open WG Strohwig Tool & Die. With a single Lucas Boring Bar and 600 square feet of space, a new company was born.
